Ever since Kitron Lithuania established additional manufacturing operations in Užliedžiai, it has played a key role in the company’s success story. What began as a small, dedicated team has grown into one of Kitron’s most dynamic production departments, providing cable harness services for customers and earning recognition for its technical expertise and strong teamwork.

Among the many dedicated people behind this growth at Kitron Lithuania are Aušrinė Skučienė, Operator Hand Soldering & Mounting and Lina Dževerakienė, Manufacturing Process Assistant. They together bring over two decades of commitment to Kitron.
Humble Beginnings, Unforgettable Experiences
Aušrinė joined Kitron in 2004 after hearing about the company from a friend. “I still remember my very first day. It was a completely new industry for me, with so much to learn and adapt to. It felt overwhelming at first,” she recalls with a smile.
She also remembers the nerves of arriving at the Užliedžiai site for the first time: “I was so anxious, but it quickly became one of the best parts of my journey, leading to unforgettable experiences. Now 20 years later, it makes me laugh, remembering how nervous I was,” she smiles.
Lina’s journey began even earlier, starting as a cable assembler, she later moved into production management, growing alongside the company. As a Manufacturing Supervisor Assistant, her role changed completely, opening the door to new challenges, skills, and opportunities.

Growing Alongside Kitron
Over the years, both women took on a variety of roles, continuously developing their skills. While some customers and team members came and went, they stayed committed, finding meaning in their work every day. Each day brought new lessons, challenges, and kept their work dynamic and engaging.
“I’ve seen Kitron change beyond recognition,” Lina shares with a smile. “We expanded, took on new projects and evolved in every way, from systems and processes to people’s skills and future prospects.
One of Lina’s career highlights was a new significant customer project, which took her and the team to Norway for comprehensive training before the production launch in the Užliedžiai manufacturing facility. The customer was new to the Lithuanian market, and the product was exciting, used in ocean-bottom-cable systems to record seismic reflections generated by seismic vessels.
“That was an unforgettable time. We were learning something completely new, and it marked a big step forward for team and company,” she recalls.
Although Kitron is an electronics manufacturing company, projects span many different sectors, keeping the work dynamic and varied. This variety allowed Lina and Aušrinė, among other team members, to gain experience across multiple sectors and collaborate with diverse teams.
Throughout the years while working at Kitron, Aušrinė has developed valuable skills such as flexibility and attention to detail. Qualities that benefit her not only at work but also in her personal life. The diversity of projects has boosted her self-confidence and taught her how to adapt to challenges.
“The company has changed and grown a lot over the years,” adds Aušrinė. “It’s great that we’re getting many new projects, which makes the work even more interesting. Each project brings its own set of learning opportunities. I really enjoy seeing how our efforts come together to create something meaningful,” shares Aušrinė.
Team Spirit at the Core
After so many years, both Aušrinė and Lina agree that it’s the people and the atmosphere that keep them motivated. They describe the Kitron team as supportive, collaborative, and always ready to help one another.
“The Kitron team is the best – working together and united. You can trust and rely on them, which makes every challenge easier, and every success feels shared. The positive work atmosphere and excellent relationships with managers are the reasons for my long and loyal career at Kitron,” shares Lina.

“Our site has a very welcoming and supportive environment. The team is great, and the managers have been with us since the very first day in Užliedžiai, for 20 years, which makes us very close,” adds Aušrinė.
It’s this spirit of teamwork that has made Kitron more than just a workplace. Here, every challenge is solved together; every success is celebrated as a team. At Kitron, we’re proud to have such devoted and inspiring team members as Aušrinė and Lina.
